Your changes save automatically, and you can revisit your Survey widget at any time.
Live Preview

Watch your survey come to life in real-time. You can test your survey by picking answers and submitting them, then reloading the window to test again.
Build Your Content

- Widget Name: Make it catchy! Our templates set the tone.
- Description: Get creative! Use bold, italic, or underline to highlight key points.
Submit Button Label: Customize the text that appears on the submit button, giving it a more engaging or relevant call-to-action. - Multiple Submissions Label (if enabled): If you allow multiple submissions, this field will instruct respondents to send their responses again.
- “Thank You” Message: Display a custom message to thank respondents after they submit their survey.
- Submit Button Label: Customize the submit button text.
- Fields: This is the heart of the Widget, where you create and customize the questions for your survey. You can delete existing fields or edit them using the icons on the right.
Fields

- Short Text: This field is ideal for simple, short responses. Customize it with:
- Email Field: Select this option to ensure only email addresses are accepted. Useful for follow-up communications with users (such as notifying award winners) or tracking who completed each survey, if responses are not anonymous.
- Required Field: Mark this box if the field must be filled out before submission.
- URL Field: Use this option if the field should only accept a URL.
- Long Text: Use this for open-ended questions where you expect longer, more detailed responses. Encourage respondents to write several sentences.
- Dropdown List: Perfect for providing multiple predefined answers in a dropdown menu. Customize it with:
- Question and Placeholder: The question appears above the dropdown, and the placeholder is visible as the default dropdown text.
- Add Answer: Click to add possible answers to the dropdown list.
- Single Choice: Use radio buttons to allow attendees to pick only one answer from a set of options.
- Multiple Choice: Use checkboxes to allow attendees to pick one or more answers from a set of options. Remember to notify them at the end of the question that multiple choices are available.

You can rearrange the order of questions anytime before publishing your widget. This flexibility allows you to tailor the survey flow to keep your audience’s attention and encourage meaningful feedback.
Personalize Your Design

- Banner Image: Choose an image that represents your survey’s purpose. Set the tone with a compelling visual that catches participants’ attention.
- Background Options:
- Use background images with adjustable opacity
- Select background colors that reflect your brand
- Experiment with color overlays to create depth and visual interest
The key is creating a design that’s professional, engaging, and uniquely yours. Your survey’s look is the first impression – make it count.
Manage Interactions

- QR Code Display: Toggle to show a unique QR code that participants can scan to access your survey instantly. Access code or Join link will be available below the QR code.
- Multiple Submissions: Want participants to take the survey more than once? Enable multiple submissions with a single click.
- Flexible Control: These settings remain adjustable even after publishing, giving you the freedom to adapt as needed.
Step 4: Publish your Survey Widget

Final review is crucial. Once you’ve carefully checked every detail, click “Publish – Go Live” to launch your survey.
After publishing, most editing is locked. You can still adjust QR code and submission settings, but the core survey remains unchanged. Confidence is key – make sure everything is perfect before publishing.
Step 5: Share Your Survey – 4 Ways to Engage Your Audience
After creating your survey, you’re ready to share it with participants. QRBro offers multiple flexible options to distribute your survey effectively:
Download the QR Code

When you publish your survey widget, the controls move to the top and the Content and Design sections collapse, revealing a QR code with a download link. The downloaded QR code can be used in multiple ways: displayed on a projector during live events, shared on screen in web meetings, or printed and placed in common areas like the office water cooler. It provides an easy, instant way for participants to access your survey across different settings, making data collection simple and convenient.

In the Live Preview window, you’ll find a link to open your survey in a new tab. This view displays a large QR code and your full survey content, making it ideal for walking participants through the questions before they begin. A helpful 5-character backup code appears below the QR code, which can be used on qrbro.com if you encounter any technical issues with scanning or accessing the survey. This option provides flexibility and a safety net for both presenters and participants.
Share a “Join” Code or URL

Two quick ways to share your survey: First, click the “Share a ‘Join’ code” dropdown item on a “Share” button to copy a 5-character join code and send it to participants. Participants can enter this code on qrbro.com in the “Join as Participant” box to access the survey. Alternatively, the more straightforward option is the “Share a ‘Join’ URL“, which embeds the access code directly into a link. When participants click this link, they’re taken straight to the survey, eliminating any extra steps and making participation as simple as possible.
Create a Presentation

Initiate the Presentation: Navigate to the sidebar and click the “Present” button. On the top right of the screen, click “New Presentation”. A modal with a list of published widgets will appear. As you only have one published widget—the survey—select the checkbox next to it. Click “Next” to proceed.
Set Up Your Presentation: Enter the presentation name and description. Continue to move to your presentation page where you can still edit the name and description, if needed. Download the QR code for easy access and sharing.

Add More Widgets (Optional): If you want more interactive elements like Quiz, Poll, Word Cloud, or a Q&A session, create and publish these widgets. Add them to your presentation by clicking the “Add Widgets” button. In the “View & Control” window, you can switch between widgets live in front of your audience for a dynamic presentation.

Present and Control: Share the presentation by downloading and using the QR code, or by sharing it like any widget. Click “View & Control” to open a new window with the presentation. This window, when opened in a new tab, is for your audience, while you keep your own presentation window to control which widget is displayed. You display by clicking the “Spotlight” button.
Choosing the Right Method
Consider your audience and setting when selecting a sharing method. Whether in a conference room, webinar, or collecting asynchronous feedback, QrBro has a solution to meet your needs.

- Grouping: Group submissions with identical answers to identify patterns
- Filtering: Narrow down responses based on specific criteria
- Pinning: Highlight key submissions for quick reference

Export Options
Flexibility is key. Export your submissions in two universal formats:

Pro Tip: The export feature ensures your data is never locked in. Take your insights wherever you need them.
Analytics Tab: Understanding Your Audience

The Analytics tab goes beyond simple response tracking. It provides a comprehensive view of how people interact with your survey:
